  • My daily mission is to make at least one person smile every day. I usually get more than one, but that is the minimum goal. Cause when they smile back, I get a positivity boost.

  • Daily I try to Listen, Carry, Fetch, Care.... When a person smiles at me I tell them how beautiful their smile is and say thank you. When a service person looks harried or tired..I use their name, ask them how their day is going and really listen. This makes my day brighter, happier and heart light. Patricia. • Hi Action for Happiness I absolutely love what you are doing to make the world a happier place. I follow action for happiness online and even took your 8 week happiness course. I'm currently on a mission to try and help men feel like they can speak up when they are struggling. I've designed a range of downloads and products that can be printed at home and shared or gifted to significant men in our lives. I really hope this will not just raise funds for a mental health charity but help end the stigma rather than so many men ending their lives as my friend's partner tragically just did. I've always done fundraising and awareness raising for mental health having battled with my own forever but I really want to do more to help men feel like they don't have to 'be strong' and that it's really ok for blokes to feel safe speaking up when they are struggling. I was hoping that you might be kind enough to share with your audience so that together we can help more people. Here's the link to the downloads: www.etsy.com/uk/shop/AdorablePrintDesign And physical products: www.consciouscrafties.com/Crafties/adorable/mental-health I'll be donating £1 from every sale to the Lions Barbers Collective a men's mental health charity encouraging men to feel safe opening up. Please share so we can help more men survive. Many thanks Laura Hope Cordell The full story is on my page https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=897428103975053&id=185772438473960

  • Staying positive is a challenge but I find out it's the most important thing to do. Being myself sometimes and listening to Christian music puts a lot of things I went through in a more clear perspective way. Turning things around that can be negative into good. I sometimes have to say to myself, "Now this is enough, life is good.

  • Keep it simple. Each day is my Birthday. Meditation early morning of the -Nothing- fills the heart from which a smile emanates-no better reference point for resuming the Game of Life with clarity. Of 82 years. Befriender, endurance runner, loving daily Birthdays

  • I've been putting up stickers all around my city that say "Don't give up, you matter!" I have them on my car, and the other day a woman leaned out of her window and said "thank you, you matter too!"

  • Keep an eye on my neighbours, remind them about bin days , share my newly ripened tomatoes with them and look after their pets when they are away. Make time for work colleagues, smile at people on the corridors at work and on the wards, offer to help when I can see they are struggling and generally try my best to help the team bit of tea and sympathy
